Governor of Meghalaya Extends Support to Malaria Eradication Program.

Mr. Madhukar Sanneerappa is traveling Across Northeastern states to create awareness about it.
Manhattan, New York (April 20, 2018) – The Global President of NeoDocto Mr. Madhukar Sanneerappa is an individual with great interest in improving the health of society. With this intention, he is taking the corporate social responsibility of NeoDocto to different parts of the world to eradicate malaria, he is traveling now in India. After collaborating in about 15 states in India, he is now in the state of Meghalaya, which is among the four states that contribute to huge Malaria deaths in the country.
According to a World Health Organization report in 2015, nearly 212 million people are infected by this disease which has contributed to nearly 438000 deaths, which includes the death of 800 kids on a daily basis, which is alarming.
Appreciating this great initiative, Mr. Madhukar Sanneerappa was invited by the honorable Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Ganga Prasad to create awareness and deploy his services in his state. Shri Ganga Prasad showed great interest in supporting the Malaria Eradication Program of NeoDocto and assured Mr. Madhukar to consider the program in the state to help people lead a malaria-free healthy life.
The Governor of the state Shri Ganga Prasad was appointed by the President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind along with four other governors for different states in India and a Lt. Governor. Mr. Prasad started his political career in the state of Bihar and he was elected as the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the state of Bihar in 1994. He was in this position for 18 years and then he served as a member of Jan Sangh from 1967.
During his meeting with the state Governor, the CEO of NeoDocto stated that even though the initiatives taken by the local government have reduced Malaria to a great extent in the state, still some measures are to be done to completely eradicate Malaria. He talked about the strategies that NeoDocto will follow to educate people about the ill effects of Malaria and the ways to prevent it from spreading. The Governor tremendously encouraged Neodocto Foundation’s Malaria Eradication Program and promised to take this program further in the state of Meghalaya.
Mr. Madhukar also talked about the District of Garo Hills, where the malaria deaths were documented, and reassured us that he would help in all possible ways to eradicate malaria from that area.
