NeoDocto foundation collaborates with the state government of Tamil Nadu, India, and is committed to providing support to the Government of Tamil Nadu in order to ameliorate the issue of Depressive Disorders and also create enough awareness of the ailment.

According to the World Health Organization, the leading cause of ill-health and disability worldwide is Depression and about 300 million people are now living with depression. Depressive mental disorders in Tamil Nadu place a tremendous burden on not just the affected persons, but also on their respective families who take care of them. There have been 857 cases reported already and it’s quite disheartening. NeoDocto will partner with the relevant authorities in the region to help beat down these disorders to a minimal level.

NeoDocto foundation has made a commitment to organize seminars and workshops for women to help them deal with stress, anxiety, irritability, and how to respond to changes in their body generally. The Foundation would carry out seminars that will help reduce the depression rate as Women experience depression about twice as often as a result of biological, hormonal, life cycle, and other factors.
