Manhattan, New York – May 3, 2019 – There has been a major collaboration with the NeoDocto foundation and the state government of Bihar, India with the sole aim of combating and curbing the deadly Rheumatic heart disease.

Rheumatic heart disease is a non-communicable disease that reduces the lifespan of the average Indian man and woman, but mostly the Indian woman, according to statistics obtained in a report from the Indian Council of Medical Research, Public Health Foundation of India, institute for health metrics and evaluation. It has been reported that there are about 32 million people suffering from Rheumatic Heart disease worldwide and it is more prevalent in developing countries.
According to the report from the Council of Medical Research, the rate of Indians suffering from this terrible disease has increased dramatically, pushing the disease from number 37 to 29 on the list of leading causes of death in the country.
